Our Roots: From Their Sacrifice to My Mission

My name is David Tod, and I’m not a veteran.
But I’m the son and grandson of warriors — men who served in Normandy, Khe Sanh, and Fallujah. I grew up with folded flags in our home and stories that didn’t need words. The values they lived — honor, grit, duty, brotherhood — shaped everything I believe.

But as I stepped into the world, I saw a disconnect:
Patriotic brands flooded the market with hollow slogans, mass-produced gear, and no real connection to service. Meanwhile, veterans — the ones who inspired me — came home to silence, to systems that forgot them.

Iron Oath was born from that gap — to reconnect purpose with product, and commerce with conscience.

The Mission: More Than Threads — It’s a Flag You Wear

We believe that the oath never ends. Once you’ve sworn to defend freedom, that promise lives in you — on duty or off, in uniform or not. At Iron Oath, we honor that by making apparel that carries the weight of legacy, pride, and purpose.

• We collaborate with veteran artists and designers to ensure every symbol has weight, and every word has honor.

• For every product sold, we donate $1 to vetted veteran support organizations such as TAPS, Fisher House Foundation, or Homes For Our Troops.

Every quarter, we publish full donation receipts and allow customers to vote on the next organization to support.
